I am troubled by one thing: in my city, the black churches (mostly small) are divided by mutual suspicion and distrust over denominational/theological differences. I don't have enough experience to know if this is typical or just a local matter. It troubles me that we would seek wisdom from a group of churches that is deeply divided. This is a new perspective for me!
